The fifty rooms of the Hotel du Théâtre are each furnished with individual designer pieces and present a harmonious and light-hearted blend of honest design with playful elements. The trapezium-shaped building means that every room has a different shape.
Pia Schmid, the architect, emphasized the special character of each room with its individual furnishing and developed 15 different color schemes for the different floors and rooms. Transparent artworks with the hotel's past thespian themes in the form of movie still-shots and individually designed carpets with good luck slogans and quotations also underline the playful tone.
A few dozen audio-books await you: plays, tales, comedy, lyrics, drama, crime, erotics and philosophy. Shut your door, lie down, and listen once again to a good-night story.
